Organization, cousins, zoo...oh my!

As like many of you out there, I am obsessed with Pinterest! I love it because I don't have to do all the work of finding blogs, they come to me! So, I have been using the organization ideas I found and recipes a lot lately. The top pic I just got a shoe organizer from Wal-mart and put all my jewelry and hair stuff in them and hung it on the back of the door. Now I have an empty drawer! I don't know why I didn't do it sooner!

The next pic is of the command center I made. I just covered a piece of wood with fabric then hung a mail box, a to do list, a frame with all my weekly, daily and monthly cleaning lists, a calendar and a clip for receipts and whatnot. I love it! Mostly to have a place to put the mail and the calendar. Plus, when I have a cleaning checklist, I tend to do it because I feel satisfied when I check something off! Lame, I know.
I also got the idea of putting all the dumb manuals you get from items like appliances, electronics, tools, baby stuff, etc. in a binder and categorized them! Super easy and out of the way!
This immediately struck me as a great idea on Pinterest! I got a craft organizer box from Hobby Lobby and organized the batteries. James HAS to have every sized battery in our house and he buys them in bulk at Costco and it gets REAL annoying to have them dispersed everywhere in the house. So, now they are easy to find and we won't keep buying AA batteries when we already have 50 of them! (Side note: I also got my label maker out and put what kind of battery goes in each slot. Yeah, I am a BIG nerd!)
I used to have all my scrapbook paper in a plastic drawer thing. But I couldn't set anything on the top of it cuz the weight would make it hard to open the drawers. So, I found these nifty containers at Costco fro $19.99 and got my label maker and organized them. Much easier for me!
NOW on to my cousins babies blessing. Here is James and Tucker! Love them both!
This pic is kind of blurry, but this is me with my cousin Kaci and her boy Jackson. They flew in from Washington for the blessing. Miss them! Wish they lived closer! She is really my only cousin close to my age.

Sorry for all the MANY different events! Just easier to throw it all in one post. We have been glad to be busy! Tucker loves being out and about! This summer is going to be so much fun! I am sure there will be MANY more pics to come=)

This and that

So here we go! Get ready for picture overload! You can tell he's our first cuz of all the pics! He will be grateful one day=)
This next pic is his GQ pic! haha. He fell on his side and was content just like this. So, once again I had to bust out the camera.
Also, these little sock/shoe/bootie things my sister Sara gave me are the BEST! Socks don't stay on very well and shoes are a pain. I HIGHLY recommend them! Tucker wears his all the time...whether they match or not! haha
James was smart and put his Jump-a-roo outside cuz Tucker LOVES being outside and he shaded him with the blanket. He didn't even mind his bare feet on the grass, which shocked me! And look at Mack posing for the pic=)
On our way to church. Tucker's cute onesie was given to us from my sister in law, Missy. So cute! And notice my CLEAN, black cardigan. During sacrament I had facing backwards and I was patting his back and my friend and her 5 year old boy were sitting behind us and he leaned over to her and said, "Mom, he looks like he's gonna blow!" Sure enough, not 5 seconds later he puked on me! haha. We are all trying so hard not to laugh!

I can't believe how fast they grow up! Especially in the past 2 weeks it seems he is learning so many things! I love it! I am excited for his future and can't wait to see more of his personality come out!

New Friend

Tucker had a friend over yesterday! It was the first time these 2 have met and I am glad Tucker will have many friends around his same age since all the cousins are older. My best friend Jessie had her boy, Conner, last March so they are only 9 months apart. So fun! And here is a pic of Tucker just hanging out.

Conner LOVES my dogs which shocked both Jess and I since they are the only dogs he has been around! He was not scared AT ALL! It was great! He kept sticking his hand out for Milo to lick! He loved it! Milo gladly obliged=)

My cute friend Jess and her boy! So glad to have them both in my life! I am seriously so blessed with GREAT friends! Now we just need our friend Annie to have her boy any day now! I hope the 3 boys grow up to be as good of friends as us!

First Walk Outside

So since the weather was wonderful yesterday, I decided to venture out and take Tucker for a walk. This was his first real walk outside and his first time really wearing a hood. So cute! He kept trying to eat it though.

then had a meltdown until we started going. Then he was fine.


Hopefully the weather will cooperate more so we can make this a common thing!

3 Months and growing

Well, Tucker is now 3 months old and growing! Here are some pics of some of the things he is working on. This top picture is of him balancing on his tummy. Yes, I am a mean mommy and took a picture of him while he is crying in agony...I'm sure I'm not the first mom to do this! He usually doesn't mind his tummy time though. I think it helps him get out all of his gas bubbles. This next picture is what he is usually like on his belly.
He has found his hands and is still trying to suck on them. Isn't he so stinkin' cute??
This is him just being a happy boy, which lately is a common occurrence...thank goodness!
He doesn't look too enthused in this pic, but he really does love hanging out in his Jumparoo.
He doesn't mind his Bumbo, but it's not his first choice.
He does LOVE his big boy swing though! It's really one of the only ways he will nap. I know, not the best way to put him to sleep, but I will take it!
It's funny how babies can be like this one minute....
and this the next. Oh, and he learned how to stand over the weekend! haha.....NOT! He was throwing such a fit that he went straight as a board so James stood him up on the couch like this. He stood like this for a good 45 seconds or so. And yes, another "Mother of the Year" moment with me taking a picture while he is freakin' out!
But then he had his bottle, and he was like this. Funny how babies are bipolar.
So that is the synopsis of Tucker this past month and what he is working on. I am back to work so I have been really bad at blogging, but, life happens right? And I am LOVING my life!
